History of Linglong Tyres

Although not one of the more recognised tyre brands, Shandong Linglong Rubber Co. is one of the world's top manufactures of tyres, exporting their tyres throughout the world. Established in 1975, Linglong first focused on mass production of bias tyres, becoming the largest bias tyre producers in China in 2001. It then branched out to include radial and speciality tyres in 2002.

Linglong focus on technology, efficiency and quality. Their production line contains some of the most advanced production and testing equipment, including an established quality control system which monitors tyre quality at every stage, controlling the quality of the semi-finished products.

The quality of Linglong's car tyres is recognised by the Chinese government

Their tyres are of such high quality that in 2011 Linglong became the first authorized company in China to be granted exemption from export inspection since the reinstatement of the export exemption policy by the government.

Linglong is committed to technological development and has set up two R&D centres in Zhaoyuan and Beijing designed specifically for tyre development and testing.

XL Tyres

XL stands for Extra Load. They use a more reinforced compound to carry heavier loads, but are the same size as normal tyres. If your car had XL tyres factory fitted then you must choose XL tyres for any new ones you buy.

4x4 Tyres

4x4 vehicles are quickly becoming popular cars throughout the country. These types of cars require special tyres to ensure even tyre wear throughout the lifetime of the tyre and to be able to perform on off-road conditions.
