Petrolheads up and down the country will be heading out to visit the best car shows in the UK, so what does the motoring event calendar have in store for 2019? At Tyre Savings we’ve put together a list of the best car shows in the UK with all of the details you’ll need and what to expect once you’re there.   

 

London Motor Show

Dates: 16th - 19th May

Location: ExCel London

As the UK’s largest car show, the popular London Motor Show is the place to go to see over 150 new cars from the likes of Aston Martin and Range Rover. Test drive the latest vehicles and technological developments from the motor industry and spend time taking in the stunning selection of iconic and historic vehicles also on display. You can even speak with legends from the motoring world and watch the Imperial cars live arena show for epic stunt driving. Tickets are £20 and kids go free.

 

Japfest

Silverstone: 5th May

Donington: 13th July

Japfest 2019 is ideal for fans of Japanese cars who want to see club displays and track time, plus the classic Japfest Spring Test event. This year the event will be celebrating 30 years of the Mazda MX-5 and the MX-5 Owners Club plan to display some of the very best models from its impressive history. Adult tickets are £25 and kids go free!

 

Isle Of Man TT

25th May - 7th June

As one of the most iconic motoring events, the Isle Of Man TT needs no introduction. Watch as the skilled bikers take on the testing 37-mile track which includes the Mountain Course, with speeds reaching a heart-racing 200mph. Enjoy the beautiful scenery in which the Isle Of Man TT race is held, and lap up the entertainment it provides for the perfect annual motor event.  


 

Power Maxed Motofest Coventry

1st - 2nd June

Experience family fun in Coventry at the Power Maxed Motofest 2019 event with the addition of a new Performance and Tuning village which will celebrate car culture and exhibit modified cars by Racing Line, Eibach and Nankang. The free urban motorsport event also offers static displays, motorsport demonstrations and live music, making the day out an essential pit stop in the motor industry events calendar.

 

London Concours

5th - 6th June

The prestigious London Concours automotive event will showcase 80 historic and modern supercars at their self-described garden party style event in the grounds of the Honourable Artillery Company. Aimed at car collectors and vintage vehicle enthusiasts, the world’s finest cars will be showcased alongside other luxury retailers and exhibitors from the fashion and jewellery industries. If you’re a fan of high-quality craftsmanship and appreciate luxury cars, this car show will be for you.

 

Formula 1 British Grand Prix

12th - 14th July

Returning to the Silverstone tracks, the epic Formula 1 British Grand Prix 2019 offers the perfect race weekend. Watch the practice and qualifying race before the main event which will see big players in the motor racing industry take to the circuit for another year. Join the infamously enthusiastic Formula 1 fans early at the grandstands to get the best viewing spot to catch all of the action.

 

Goodwood Festival Of Speed

5th - 8th July

Head to the breathtaking parkland surrounding Goodwood House in Sussex this summer for unrestricted access to classic and modern cars, and the skilled drivers who put them to work. Witness the speed on the Hillclimb track and record-breaking moments of successful racing machines

 

Carfest

North - Cheshire: 26th - 28th July

South - Hampshire: 23rd -25th August

At the helm of Carfest is radio DJ and car enthusiast Chris Evans who has built a festival centred around car exhibits and races alongside a day of live entertainment, refreshments and fun fair rides. Take in the car club displays, vintage village, hill club track show and the Sporting Bears Dream Rides exhibit for fun for all the family. All proceeds of Carfest go to Children In Need which makes the event even more worthwhile!

 

Truckfest

Dates & Location: Multiple

Europe’s largest trucking festival is not for the faint-hearted. Taking place at locations throughout the UK, including Edinburgh, Kent and Peterborough, Truckfest 2019 is a family fun event for thrillseekers hoping to be entertained by car crushing monster truck shows, live music and celebrity appearances from the likes of Shayne Ward and Harry Redknapp.

 

Classic Motor Show

8th - 10th November

Held annually at the NEC Birmingham, the incredibly sized Classic Motor Show will showcase over 2000 classic cars, 300 motorbikes and exhibit hundreds of trade stands. Not only can you rub shoulders with some of the UK’s biggest car clubs, but the hosts of Wheeler Dealers will also be doing live stage demonstrations and restoration demos will be taking place during the event. Those looking to purchase a classic car can also attend the two-day auction at the Classic Motor Show to take away something supreme.
